The College Board states that the SAT measures literacy and writing skills that are needed for academic success in college. The SAT is a paper based exam and requires a valid international passport to write the exam.The SAT is divided into 3 sections; the Critical reading, Mathematics and Writing. Each section is graded on a 200-800 scale. Total score is the total of the scores gotten on the 3 sections.
