The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is computer based English language test designed to assess the readiness of non-native English speakers to participate in a university-level English language instruction program.
With PTE Academic, students receive an overall English score, as well as scores for individual English sub-skills and enabling skills.
With PTE Academic you can see:
•Oral Fluency score

Each institution that uses PTE scores sets its own minimum level of acceptable performance. These minimum scores vary from one institution to another, depending on factors such as the applicant’s field of study, the level of study (undergraduate or graduate), whether the applicant will be a teaching assistant, and whether the institution offers English as a Second Language support for its students.
The test is internationally recognized and is accepted for admissions for thousands of programs. PTE Academic acceptance includes top UK universities, top US universities and government organizations.
PTE Academic is available in 43 territories including China, India, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nigeria and Canada.
